The central figure of the story is Kabayan. Taken from one of the famous folklore from Sunda, kabayan describes as 10th years child with fat body, diligent, honest, and wise. But as a child he still has naughty characteristic as usual.
Like another similar story, the central figure also has friend that always accompany him go everywhere. Lip Lap is an lightning bug which always remembering Kabayan and give motivation while Kabayan desperate and give warning if Kabayan do some mistakes. Besides lip lap, another character also appears and representing another tribes such as Kalimantan, Papua and Tiong Hua.

Nationalist element also included into this story. Implicitly  some nationalist value also given by scenario like adventure across every unique culture in Indonesia and promoting Indonesia people using local product.

Kabayan and Lip lap itself is attainments from Casle production. Indonesia Local Animation House which is used to handle animation project from another country.
