Facebook doubled its users to 26 million between September 2006 and May 2007. And now its users about 200 million ! What a rapid increase !. There must be some reason why it can be happened. If we compare Facebook with the other social networking websites, we can have result like this:

1. Facebook can save your time. It tells you on your own homepage what your friends have been doing without you’re even having to visit your friends’ profiles or have them send you a message to find out.
2. The fast in the fast members give the comments and and other people to be their friends also the superiority of Facebook. Members do not must wait loading time of browser to give coemments or add some friends. It’s faster in Facebook.
3. Facebook will make you see people who you are already know before. Its systems can bring together the people who ever already know each other. This thing can not dot in other websites like MySpace or Friendster. MySpace, by contrast, tries to introduce people who don’t know each other. People spend more time procrastinating on facebook because they are communicating with people they actually know rather than a bunch of random strangers.
4. Facebook’s stricter registration process has largely spared it from the spam and other commercial elements. It’s very different from other websites that seems have no good regulation in their commercial space. So, it just seems too many commercial space in people homepage. And members actually didn’t like this.
5. Everything you can do on facebook with ease is possible using a loose coalition of blogging software, IM clients, email, Twitter, Flickr, Google Reader, etc. Sure, it’s not as automatic or easy, but anyone can participate and the number of things to see and do on the web outnumbers the number of things you can see and do on facebook by several orders of magnitude (and always will).
6. The 3rd party good suport for Facebook. Members can add many application from many kind in their home page from 3rd party. But, although we have so many application from 3rd party, it won’t harm the hopepage interface, because it had grouped in one tab.
