Depok – 76 Smart Robot of the whole Jakarta compete in the Campus of University of Indonesia (UI), Depok. one of them will be the representative of Indonesia, ‘against’ intelligent robots from other countries in the contest, the International robots level ABU ROBOCON 2009.
International competition will be held in Tokyo, Japan, on 22 August 2009. At that time Indonesia Robot team will be competed with 20 teams Robot overseas.
The team who will be delegation of Indonesia will be selected through selection in Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) in 2009 to be held in a few stages, starting with the Regional Contest in 4 (four) regions such us : Pekan Baru, Jakarta, Yogyakarta and Surabaya, “said Arif Udhiarto as Sekertaris General Robot Contest indonesia (KRI) & Smart Indonesian Robot Contest (KRCI) Regional II, when detikINET found him in the royal audience hall University of Indonesia, Depok, Saturday (9/5/2009).
Regional II contest this time followed by 31 University of Java in the west. There are 2 categories that will be competed , that are : Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) and Indonesia Smart Robot Contest (KRCI).
from 31 of this University, there are 19 teams to KRI and 57 teams to KRCI. To KRCI team will be divided into 4 categories:
9 team division Expert Single
8 team division Expert Battle
14 team Senior division -have feet
26 teams Senior division-wheeler
this robots competition was held on Sunday (10/05/2009) at royal audience hall at the University of Indonesia, Depok, West Java. 76 teams from all over West Java bwill compete to become the best

further will be taken total for 15 champion team, from each category in the contest for competing National KRI & KRCI 2009 contest, which will be held at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta on 6-7 June 2009.
